Wonderful, joyful, elated congratulations! Thank you for sharing your good news! And I have a friend who ate her way through bottles of Tums chewables during her pregnancy, so that's all the heartburn advice I have :)HOORAY!!!!
Crystal, I'm so happy for you and Stephen! What an exciting time! I've been wondering when you guys would become pregnant! Thanks for sharing!
Oh dear friend, I am beyond thrilled for you guys. Has the morning sickness subsided then? Tums was my snack of choice for heartburn. Not the best taste, but it did the trick. LOVE YOU! :-)
Congrats Crystal!I use to eat vanilla yogurt... The dairy helped neutralize the acid both of the times I was pregnant.Being a Mother is the greatest, hardest thing I have done in my life. There is nothing like holding your child for the first time...Get your rest now... That will all change when you little one arrives.Warmly,Lisa VanDoren(Settimi)
CRYSTAL!! Oh how happy my heart is for the both of you! And can I say Lexy had a dream the other day that a friend had a baby boy. So just sayin, I think it may be a boy. YAY!!!!
CONGRATS! (again).Heartburn: eat small meals all day long (never eat until stuffed). Sip water when not eating. Diary helps (milk, yogurt). Don't drink a lot when eating (will fill you up too much). Tums are wonderful. Sleep in an inclined position (if getting heartburn at night)... I think that covers it :)counting down the days until I will not have to deal with it myself. Let me know if you need anything.
Thank you friends =). I feel so joyful when I read your congrats. Tums it is baby!
SOOOOOO EXCITED FOR YOU!!!!I had wicked heartburn and lived on Tums, milk and graham crackers. They were the only things that did the job.
I am over the moon excited for you guys :) I've always pictured you as a mother... you are going to be amazing. Now if we can just get you to Cali... :)Did you know almonds help with heartburn? I used to munch on them like crazy... along with the TUMS.
Hooray hooray hooray hooray hooray!!!!!
Congratulations Crystal! I am so excited for your happy news!!! The ultrasound shots are amazing - so clear and you can see his/her whole body - so cool! My heartburn relief has been like Rhonda said - TUMS, and milk w/ graham crackers. Lately the nightly leg cramps have set in as well; so I heat the milk which helps me fall asleep, then I eat my TUMS right before bed. Hope you find some relief. Enjoy your pregnancy! :)
Judy, the odds that we will have a boy is HIGH. Boys run heavily on Stephen's side of the family. Tell Lexy I was probably that friend she dreamt about ;).Graham crackers, YES! I just started eating those a couple of weeks ago =).
